Hardware
Complete a chain motor and truss order with a rigging package. Applied stocks on-hand a wide range of shackles, beam clamps, couplers and other rigging hardware and that means fast shipping. Additional rigging gear is available upon request.
Beam Clamps
Beam clamps are used to create a temporary or permanent fixed rigging point on I-Beams, they will fit a wide range of beam sizes. Beam Clamps feature an all-steel rugged construction, and a built-in suspension bar to easily attach the load. The Beam Clamps are tagged for traceability and have a black CED (Cathodic Electro Deposition) finish. Applied stocks Beam Clamps in 3-ton capacity, which fits a flange width range of 3” to 12”.
Deck Chain
This 1/2" alloy deck chain is Grade 80 rated for overhead lifting. Commonly used to adjust bridle legs, making secondary suspensions taught or other adjustments needed in other rigging assemblies. Each chain is tagged with size, grade, length, working load limit and batch number. Any one link on the chain will accommodate up to a 3/4" shackle. Deck Chain is available in 3' or 5' lengths.
Shackles
Applied stocks several different sizes of shackle for most rigging applications. The 3/8” shackle with a working load limit of 1600 lbs. The 1/2” shackle with a working load limit of 2800 lbs. The 5/8” shackle with a working load limit of 4400 lbs. Shackles are designed and rated for in-line applied tension only. Shackles should not be side loaded. All shackles should be visually inspected for wear, deformation and pin engagement before each use.
Couplers
All Applied stocked couplers are constructed from a certified high tensile-strength 6061 T6 aluminum extrusion. The couplers attach securely to truss and pipe to combine strength and durability with a high degree of safety. Applied stocks half and swivel couplers for 2” tube, as well as quad and swivel quad couplers for 1-3/8” tube. Other couplers available upon request.
Pear Link
Pear Links are used as a top link for attaching chain slings to chain motors. They are also perfect for use with multi-leg sling bridles. Applied stocks the Crosby A-341 Alloy Steel 5/8” Pear Link with a working load limit of 9000 lbs. These Pair Links are domestically manufactured and are forged, not welded. They are made from alloy steel, giving them a higher working load limit than standard pair links. Every Pear Link is marked in steel at the 45-degree marks at each end.
