Truss picks are constructed using laminated laser cut high tensile steel and 6061-T6 machined clamps with positive conical locks. The clamps are designed with comfort knobs and provide seven top and one bottom rigging points for attaching truss to a shackle, chain motor or chain hook. One ton of truss load in the saddles, plus an additional one-ton load through the lower rigging point provides two tons of vertical working loads. Truss picks are stocked in standard sizes to fit 12”, 16” and 20.5” truss, with custom sizing available. All truss picks are available in either silver or power coated black.

Chain Guides are used in conjunction with Truss Picks. As the Truss Pick sits inside the truss to provide a low rigging point, the chain has the opportunity to rub against the truss creating potential weak spots. A Chain Guide is mounted directly above the Truss Pick to ensure that the chain is in straight alignment with the chain motor and the truss pick. Applied manufactures Chain Guides for 12”, 16” and 20.5” box truss. Applied can also manufacture Chain Guides with custom mount positions of the actual guide for custom angles of truss hang.

Plated Truss Connectors allow for two pieces of 12”, 16” or 20.5” aluminum box truss to be connected together without a corner block. The design of the Plated Truss Connector is made specifically to fit Applied Box Truss 1.9” OD chord. The Plated Truss Connectors gives the ability to make 90-degree connections of the same style truss pieces for the use of custom designs. The load capacity of the inline truss will reduce the rating, please call the Applied team for more information. The 12” Plated Truss Connectors are available to fit AP and HD Box Truss.

When there is no physical space in the venue or budget space in the production for a chain motor, Applied offers the Truss Hanger. Truss Hangers create the ability to dead-hang a truss rig in a temporary or permanent scenario. The Applied Truss Hangers feature steel construction with bolts to lock in the truss, and a heavy-duty eye-bolt for a single hang point. Applied manufactures and stocks Truss Hangers for 8” Tri Truss, as well as all sizes of Box and PRT Truss.
