Applied Electronics is a full-service stocking Master Distributor for CM Entertainment Lodestar and Prostar chain motors. We are proud to be able to offer CM certified level 2 service and support. Applied Electronics also offers rigging hardware and motor accessories; from shackles to slings to motor cases we can get you hooked up.
CM Lodestar
The CM Lodestar chain motor is considered the workhorse of the entertainment and live events industries. Ideal for lifting and securing truss systems for lighting and sound rigs. Half-ton and One-ton models are standard, with additional options from quarter-ton up to three ton. Lodestar motors feature adjustable limit switches, lifetime gear lubrication, industry standard mechanical overload protection and H-4 duty rated motors. Lodestars are backed by CM’s lifetime warranty.
CM Prostar
For lighter lifting needs, the CM Prostar chain motor is an industry favorite. Available in 300, 500, 600 and 1000 lbs capacities, the Prostar can be configured for 110v single phase or 208v 3 phase power. The Prostar being patented for it’s quiet operation, plus it’s lightweight and portability makes it the go-to alternative for tight spaces.
Motor Control
MC Series motor controllers, manufactured by Applied Electronics, provide control for up to 48 chain motors. The system is comprised of a main console which performs all power input, output and up/down switching functions. The remote is connected via a 6-pin XLR data cable to control motor direction and emergency stop functions. Systems can be configured to run on 120v/220v single or 208v three-phase power. The input power connectors are customized to your needs.
Motor Accessories
Heavy duty chain bags, carry handles, ATA Style single or dual motor road cases and more can be supplied by Applied Electronics. We also offer custom built motor cable, single motor controller pickle and cable, as well as the Pocket Pickle which every motor tech should have in their toolbox.
Rigging
Applied Electronics stocks a wide range of domestic rigging hardware and lifting gear. Beam clamps, truss picks, Steelflex and Nylon roundslings, steel slings, deck chain and shackles for your rigging needs can be provided by us.
